Carton sealers automatically place adhesive tape to the top & bottom of the box simultaneously. The operator simply folds flaps of the corrugated carton and feeds it into the machine. Our carton sealers are reliable, cost-effective and durable providing savings to your production process.
Our carton sealers are integral to end of the line production and can provide significant material and labor savings
Increase production twofold over manual box sealing
Reduce labor costs
Reduce waste – manually sealing boxes usually requires double taping but a carton sealer only requires one strip of tape.
Clean consistent professional looking boxes
Is a Carton Sealer Right for our Production?
To determine if a carton sealer makes sense for your production, answer the following questions:
How many boxes are you sealing per week?
How many employees to you have manually sealing boxes?
How much do you spend on tape?
How long does it take to manually seal each box?
Our most basic carton sealer retails for less than $2,500 so a carton sealer can easily be justifiable with less than 100 boxes/day
We offer a variety of carton sealers to suit your needs. Our distributors can help you determine which carton sealer will work best for your applications. Keep in mind the following:
What are your different box sizes (L x W x H)?
What are the weights of the different boxes?
Do you prefer a manual or random carton sealer?
Random is ideal if you have a variety of box sizes as the random carton sealer will adjust automatically to your box size
Does the carton need to taped on the top & bottom, top only, or bottom only?
What tape width do you need? Standard is 2” but we also offer 3” tape width carton sealers
We have also created a survey – Just email your completed survey to us and we will help you come up with the best carton sealer for your applications. Sealer Sales Carton Sealer Survey
Have you been looking for an affordable way to ramp up your packaging process and been eyeing our CBS-880 band sealer? The CBS-880 is an incredibly effective machine to seal plastic bags. In this blog post, we will be answering your questions about the CBS-880. We hope these answers below will help you determine if the CBS-880 is right for your packaging application. If you still have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us or one of our authorized distributors.
Question: How do I know if the CBS-880 is the right band sealer for me?
Our CBS-880 band sealer can seal flat bags, stand up pouches, gusseted pouches and much more. While the CBS-880 can seal most bags in an incredibly efficient manner, remember there are some limitations.
Weight of the bag should be no heavier than 2.2-lbs. If you are planning to seal a pretty heavy item, we have other band sealers that can handle the load
No liquids. Remember, your bag is going to sit horizontally on the conveyor so any liquids will spill out. Take a look at our vertical band sealers or our FRM-1120C tilting band sealer if you are planning on sealing liquids
You’re always welcome to send your bag samples over to us and we can seal some sample bags for you!
Question: Does the CBS-880 print an expiration date or a lot code?
The CBS-880 has embossing capabilities which creates a raised message on the seal line. This can be customized to your message whether it be a company name, lot code or expiration date. We also carry band sealers that can print via dry ink coding. See the comparison chart below.
If you are looking to print using dry ink coding on your bag, reach out to us or one of our distributors to walk you through our various options.
Question: Is there a lot of set up required in order to use the CBS-880?
Some set up is required but it is pretty straightforward and easy. We have a video below which shows you exactly how to set up your CBS-880 band sealer.
Question: Is there an instruction manual?

Palletizing shipments are designed to keep your product safe and secure when transporting goods from one warehouse to another. Pallet stretch wrappers are machines designed to wrap pallets and eliminate the laborious task of hand wrapping.
When to Upgrade to a Pallet Wrapper
Hand wrapping can be time consuming and a tedious operation. Stretch wrapping utilizing a pallet wrapper is easier and will reduce your film costs and provide labor savings. We have found that even at 15 pallets a day, you may be able to justify the cost of a pallet wrapper.
Advantages of a Pallet Wrapper
Pallet wrappers will stretch film accurately making sure you are using the right amount of stretch film. In addition, purchasing machine stretch film vs. hand stretch film will provide significant cost savings as well
Labor costs savings
Utilizing a pallet wrapper to wrap pallets will not only result in film savings but the faster speed of a machine vs. hand wrapping will result in labor cost savings as well
Consistent and uniform application
A pallet wrapper will produce a clean professional product. Pallet wrapping by hand can result in uneven quality depending on the operator. Multiple operators, time of day, fatigue and other variables may result in different quality. A stretch wrap machine eliminates those variables
Pallet wrappers are better able to protect pallets as they provide an even stretch force vs. hand wrapping
Cost Analysis: Questions to Ask to Determine WHEN to Invest in a Pallet Wrapper
What is your output? Think about how many pallets you are wrapping on a weekly basis
How much are you spending on stretch film?
How long does it take to get a pallet wrapped and loaded on a truck?
We have a cost analysis calculator available for you. Download our cost analysis spreadsheet which allows you to compare the cost of hand wrapping vs. stretch wrapping. Please note this spreadsheet only calculates the film savings and not labor cost savings.

When purchasing brand new equipment, make sure that spare parts are readily available to prevent equipment downtime. Most sealing equipment will go through consumable parts such as heating elements, PTFE, belts, silicone rubber, etc. While manufacturers carry spare parts for their own equipment, they are unlikely to carry spares for other machines. Downtime can be costly when parts are unavailable.
Research Equipment Before Purchase Thoroughly research equipment and vendor before you purchase to ensure that spare parts, especially consumable parts, are readily available. If you are not sure what parts should be kept on hand, ask the equipment manufacturer. Low cost machines may seem like a good option if you are price conscious, but if you cannot find replacement parts for your machine, then you may not be able to use that machine when parts need replacing defeating the purpose of purchasing a machine.
Calculate Cost of Spare Parts To calculate the cost of spare parts, calculate what one hour of downtime will cost your company. Working from this information and factoring in lead times, you can determine the cost of an unexpected shutdown. Then compare that to the cost of purchasing and storing replacement parts. You can make an informed decision based on this analysis.
If you do not purchase your machine from a manufacturer with a solid spare parts inventory, the cost of downtime can be high while waiting for the part.
Purchase Spare Parts even with New Equipment We recommend stocking spare parts with new equipment. If a part is found to be defective, you can mitigate downtime by having spares available for replacement right away. In addition, new equipment will still go through wear and tear parts quickly, especially if you plan to run the machine through heavy production.
Our parts department offers support throughout the lifetime of your machine, assisting with parts selection, expedited order and shipment of your parts.
